Alleen… Knots is niet zo stoer als zijn naam doet geloven! Wanneer Knots onverwachts vrienden wordt Freddie de oerkie en wanneer blijkt dat sneeuwleeuw Stip zijn hulp nodig heeft, besluit hij dat het tijd is om zichzelf te bewijzen in de wereld buiten de groene vallei. Hiervoor moet hij op hol geslagen mammoeten, klauwkrokodillen en giebelende lachkikkers te trotseren… Én zijn irritante zusje Tuf in bedwang houden! Is hij stoerder dan hij zelf dacht?
