Description
De Pietro Nicola Caffee Margaux is een bitterzoete koffie- amaro uit Schotland en is onderdeel van het assortiment Aperitivi & Digestivo geproduceerd door The House of Botanicals. Dit assortiment is geïnspireerd door de drinkcultuur van Italië.
De Caffee Margaux is gemaakt van Ethiopische koffiebonen. Deze worden eerst gerijpt in oude Bourbon en Port eiken vaten. De bonen absorberen de hoofzakelijke smaken tijdens de rijping, de vanille en toffee tonen uit de Bourbon vaten en de donkere chocolade, donker fruit en noten smaken uit de Port vaten. Vervolgens worden de bonen geroosterd, gemalen en gemacereerd in neutrale graanalcohol voor minimaal 2 weken.
Na het filteren wordt deze verdunt en licht gezoet met een vleugje Demerara suiker om de rijkdom en het mondgevoel te perfectioneren.
Heerlijk om puur te drinken of met ijs en wat droog tonic water.
