Ze zijn bedekt met extra vierge olijfolie en versierd met zorgvuldig geselecteerde groene olijven. Ze hebben een malse, delicaat aromatische smaak. U zult versteld staan van hun voortreffelijke smaak. La Perle des Dieux raadt aan om dit traditionele recept als voorgerecht te nuttigen. Deze makreel uit blik is echter ook geschikt voor uitgebreidere recepten.
