Description
Derrumbes Guerrero is een mezcal afkomstig uit Coyuca de Catalán, in de bergachtige regio van Guerrero. Voor deze expressie wordt uitsluitend gebruikgemaakt van wilde Cupreata-agave, een zeldzame soort die 5 tot 15 jaar nodig heeft om te rijpen. Mezcalero Israel Ríos Bucio oogst deze agaves met de hand en laat ze openlucht fermenteren in plastic kuipen, waarna ze dubbel worden gedistilleerd op traditionele wijze.

Distillatie: Dubbele distillatie in koperen ketels
Rijping: Joven (ongerijpt)
Smaakprofiel
Neus: Gekookte agave, groene peper, lichte citrus en romige tonen.
Smaak: Grassig en kruidig met tonen van cream cheese en groene paprika.
Afdronk: Zoet en zacht, met honing en rijpe meloen.
