Description
Mezcal San Cosme Artesano Tobala Edicion 03 is de derde editie van de nieuwe product lijn van San Cosme. Bij deze product lijn focussen zij zich meer op de wild groeiende agaves. Zo wordt bij deze mezcal gebruik gemaakt van 100% Tobalá agaves. Het oogsten en groeien van wilde agaves is erg schaars, voor deze editie zijn er daarom ook maar 1100 flessen verkrijgbaar wereldwijd.
Deze mezcal heeft een volle smaakprofiel met aroma’s van gekarameliseerde boter gecombineerd met kruidige hinten. Een fijn en langdurige afdronk met zoet-frisse tonen van appels en mineralen.
San Cosme vestigt zich in Santiago Matalan, het hart van Oaxaca en mezcal. De naam van het merk is gerelateerd aan de ‘’Saint Cosmas’’ die, samen met zijn broer Damian, door sommigen wordt aanbeden als de ‘Patroonheilige van de doctoren’. De broers trotseerden de dood bij meerdere gelegenheden en wonderen worden aan hen toegeschreven, zelfs na hun overlijden, verschijnen ze in dromen van mensen en degenen die om genezing smeken.
