Een mooie poster met de afbeelding van de Sixtijnse madonna geschilderd door Raphael
Binnen de Antroposofie wordt deze afbeelding veelal gebruikt in de kinderkamers en in de klassen op scholen.
De Sixtijnse Madonna is een olieverf op doek schilderij van 256 cm x 196 cm van Rafaël Santi gemaakt in ca. 1513–1514. Het bevindt zich nu in de Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden (gekocht in 1754). Het is een van de beroemdste schilderijen van de Italiaanse Renaissance. Het schilderij is vooral bekend door de twee engeltjes aan de onderkant.
Op het schilderij is de klassieke in het rood en blauw geklede Madonna met het Christuskind en paus Sixtus II en de heilige Barbara te zien. De drie figuren zijn gerangschikt in een driehoek; de teruggeslagen gordijnen in de bovenste hoeken benadrukken het geometrische geheel.
