De in Parijs wonende kunstenaar Arnaud Pfeffer heeft een achtergrond als industrieel ontwerper, maar zijn passie is zijn kunst. Pfeffer weeft verbanden tussen menselijke en geautomatiseerde gebaren. In zijn werk combineert hij de fijnheid van handgemaakte tekeningen met machinale precisie en de eindeloze mogelijkheden van verschillende penselen, inkten en gereedschappen. Door zijn experimenten verkent Pfeffer het verband tussen het onverwachte van de materie en de precisie van code om de materialiteit van mechanisch tekenen bloot te leggen.
