Onze risottorijst is van het type Arborio. Dit is de meest bekende rijst voor risotto en is afkomstig uit Italië. Arborio risottorijst is licht klevend en rond van vorm. Bijzonder geschikt om heerlijke risotto mee te maken. Gebruik ongeveer 75 g per persoon. Voeg 3 keer de hoeveelheid water toe. Breng aan de kook en laat onder af en toe roeren 25 tot 30 minuten zachtjes koken. Voor risotto: Bak de rijst enkele minuten in olie of boter. Voeg in kleine porties al roerende 3x de hoeveelheid bouillon toe in ongeveer 30 minuten. Telkens tussendoor wachten tot de bouillon is opgenomen. Bewaaradvies: koel, droog en goed afgesloten bewaren.
