De wijngaarden liggen in het hart van Valle de Uco, Argentinië, meer dan 1300 meter boven de zeespiegel en zijn meer dan 30 jaar oud. De bodem bestaat uit grof gesteente, wat een perfecte waterdrainering geeft. De nachten zijn koel en de dagen zonnig en warm wat resulteert in concentreerde fruitige wijnen met een mooie zuurgraad en rijpe tannine. Dit alles geeft de wijn z'n unieke karakteristieken. De druiven komen uit de La Pampa en de El Portilllo Estate.

Omschrijving en details
De druiven voor deze wijn zijn met de hand geplukt en worden zeer voorzichtig gekneusd. De temperatuur wordt tijdens de fermentatie zo laag mogelijk gehouden. Niet warmer dan 20°C. Tijdens de fermentatie wordt de wijn in kleine Franse eiken vaten overgeheveld. Verdere rijping gedurende 10 maanden op deze vaten.
De enige witte wijn uit de Primus serie en wat een icoon! Mooie goudgele en olijfgroene tinten in het glas. Een elegante neus van rijp fruit en toetsen van Frans eikenhout. Uitstekende volle structuur en een charmante afdronk.
Heerlijk om nu te drinken en zal zelfs winnen aan complexiteit als je de fles 5-7 jaar laat ouderen. Een wijn passend bij culinaire hoogstandjes, als fazant met zuurkoolstamppotje of tarbot in beurre blanc.
