Bitter Scrappy’s Black Lemon is een cocktailbitter uit Amerika die “Black Lemon” bevat. Een "Black Lemon" is een aards, rokerig kruid dat veel wordt gebruikt in de keuken van het Midden-Oosten. In tegenstelling tot wat de naam doet vermoeden, is het eigenlijk een gedehydrateerde limoen. De cocktailbitter heeft een heldere en frisse citroensmaak, rijke bloemige noten en diepe aardse kruiden.
Scrappy’s Bitters is in 2008 opgericht door Miles Thomas, voormalig bartender in Seattle. In zijn bartender carrière miste hij vaak de smaaktoevoegingen van de cocktailbitters die toen op de markt waren. Miles verdiepte zich daarom zelf in de wereld van kruiden, extractie en wat je er allemaal mee kan doen. Sinds 2008 wordt elke Scrappy’s Bitters handgemaakt in Seattle, WA.
