Shoyu is een milde Japanse sojasaus, die gemaakt wordt van sojabonen, tarwe en koji (een unieke Japanse schimmel). Het aroma is krachtig maar verfijnd. Wat je proeft is authentiek en op en top Japans. Het meest bijzondere? In shoyu vind je alle vijf de smaakcomponenten in een keer terug: zoet, zout, zuur, bitter en umami.
Gebruiker Tips: Ten minste houdbaar tot op de verpakking vermelde datum.
Suggesties: Shoyu is heerlijk door (miso)soepen, bij soba- en udonnoedels, roerbakgerechten, of als milde dipsaus bij sushi. Van shoyu gaan veel smaakeigenschappen verloren als je het verhit, voeg het daarom pas aan het eind van het kookproces toe.
