Originated from Africa, the beautiful Jade Bonsai (Portulacaria) does not require frequent watering. Therefore it is the perfect bonsai for busy people or someone who is often away from home!  
Jade bonsai is easy to care for and it is suitable for bonsai beginners. They only need to be throughly watered about once every 2 weeks. As a succulent, the jade bonsai prefers to stand in a spot near the window where they can get bright sunlight.

Care: strong, direct sunlight.
Water: approximately once every two weeks (can be less and more often depending on the weather and season). When you water your bonsai, make sure it is watered thoroughly. Let the soil be slightly dry in between watering.
Bonsai Plant food: apply bonsai Plant food about once a month, except in the winter months.
