Geïnspireerd door het zelfgebreide keukentextiel van haar oma, startte de Deense Dorte Soland Wang in 2009 met haar eigen collectie gebreid keukentextiel. Inmiddels worden de doekjes gebreid op de breimachine, maar nog steeds worden ze met de hand afgewerkt. Sinds 2009 is het keukentextiel van Solwang uitgegroeid tot een klassieker, vanwege hun goede eigenschappen als absorptievermogen, duurzaamheid, functionaliteit en natuurlijk vanwege hun looks. De doekjes zijn in vele kleuren verkrijgbaar. Combineer ze met een bijpassend gebreid handdoekje van Solwang, of mix-en-match tot je eigen stijl.
