Het is zomervakantie en juf Josje verheugt zich op een paar luie weken. Dan blijkt dat de burgemeester plannen heeft om het Stadspark, waar ook haar huisje staat, te vernieuwen. Hij wil de 200-jarige eik vervangen door `Nieuwe Natuur. De burgemeester is supertrots op dit technologische hoogstandje. Hoewel deze nepnatuur nauwelijks van de echte te onderscheiden is, ontdekt Superjuffie al snel dat deze giftig is. Ze heeft haar handen vol aan het redden van dieren die er per ongeluk van gegeten hebben. Hoe kan ze voorkomen dat de plannen doorgaan?
