Tamari is een krachtige Japanse sojasaus, die gemaakt wordt van sojabonen en koji (een unieke Japanse schimmel). Sojasaus is veruit het belangrijkste ingrediënt in de Japanse keuken. Heb je deze smaakmaker eenmaal geprobeerd, dan ben je verkocht. Het aroma is krachtig maar verfijnd. Wat je proeft is authentiek en op en top Japans. Het meest bijzondere? In tamari vind je alle vijf de smaakcomponenten in één keer terug: zoet, zout, zuur, bitter én umami! Tamari is multi-inzetbaar. Je kunt het werkelijk overal doorheen doen. Breng rijst of noedels ermee op smaak, door stoof- of roerbakgerechten, marineer vlees of vis ermee of gebruik het als dipsaus bij sushi. De mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos.
