Het testen met behulp van een cassette is een zeer betrouwbare wijze voor het vaststellen van een zwangerschap. Het stelt de waarde van het hCG in urine vast. Aan de hand hiervan is het zeer betrouwbaar om een zwangerschap vast te stellen.
Bovendien is het zeer eenvoudig. U vangt de urine op in een schoon potje. Haal de cassette pas uit de verpakking vlak voordat u de test wilt gaan uitvoeren. Leg de test op een vlakke ondergrond. Neem vervolgens met de pipet de urine op en voeg deze toe op de test.
Het is aan te bevelen de eerste ochtend urine te gebruiken; de concentratie hCG is hierin namelijk het hoogst. Mocht u de test op een ander tijdstip uit willen voeren kan dat ook.
