Het Toockies project:
Toockies worden handgemaakt door ongeschoolde vrouwen in India, die anders moeilijk een eigen inkomen kunnen verdienen. In de dorpen rondom Calcutta worden vrouwen geholpen en getraind om Toockies producten te maken. Het Toockies project maakt een verschil door deze vrouwen in staat te stellen hun eigen lot in handen te nemen. Voor veel vrouwen biedt het inkomen dat ze met Toockies verdienen, de mogelijkheid om hun kinderen naar school te kunnen laten gaan. Dit bestrijdt kinderarbeid en biedt hun kinderen kans op een betere toekomst.
