Description
Spekkoek (Indonesisch: Spekuk of Lapis Legit, Maleisisch Kek Lapis) is een Indische cake- of koekachtige lekkernij.
Nu Vegan met dank aan Martine van Haperen van Vegetus.
Spekkoek bestaat uit laagjes in twee kleuren, om en om. In het oorspronkelijke recept wordt de donkere kleur verkregen door het gebruik van bruine suiker, terwijl de lichte lagen geraffineerde (witte) suiker bevatten. Later zijn andere varianten verzonnen.
Ingrediënten:
Tarwebloem, maizena, bakpoeder, witte kristalsuiker, zout, vanille aroma, zonnebloemolie, appelmoes (appel, suiker, citroenzuur), sojamelk (water, sojabonen, tricalciumfosfaat, maltodextrine, stabilisator E418, vitamine B2, D2), kaneel, nootmuskaat, kardemom, gember, kruidnagel, steranijs, venkelzaad, pandanpasta (glucose, water, pandanaroma, E102)
SERVEERADVIES:
Snijd de spekkoek in dunne plakjes en serveer de spekkoek op kamer temperatuur.
