Westerkaap Shiraz is een Zuid-Afrikaanse rode wijn die volledig op basis van de Shiraz druif is vervaardigd. De Shiraz druif heeft van nature een wat dikke schil en door de relatief grote hoeveelheid zonuren die de druiven in Zuid-Afrika maken, leidt dit tot een volle wijn met een aangename en fruitige smaak. De Westerkaap Shiraz heeft een donkere kleur en aroma's van bessen, bramen en kruiden. In de mond komen eveneens vergelijkbare invloeden naar voren, aangevuld met lichte hints van tannines. Door het stevige karakter van de wijn is dit een ideale begeleider van diverse vleesgerechten, zeker als je hier romige sauzen bij serveert.
