Kavalan Port Cask Concertmaster is een premium single malt whisky uit Taiwan, geproduceerd door de King Car Distillery. Deze whisky is een perfecte introductie tot Kavalan's whiskys, waarbij traditionele distillatiemethoden worden gecombineerd met unieke rijpingsomstandigheden in het warme klimaat van Taiwan. De Concertmaster wordt eerst gerijpt in ex-bourbonvaten en vervolgens afgewerkt in een mix van portvaten, waaronder ruby, tawny en vintage portvaten. Dit geeft de whisky zijn complexe en zoete karakter.

- ABV: 40%
- Kleur: Diep amber met rode accenten
- Neus: Zoete aroma’s van rijpe bessen, rozijnen, pruimen en een vleugje chocolade. Subtiele hints van toffee en kruiden voegen diepte toe.
- Smaak: Vol en soepel, met een balans tussen zoete tonen van portwijn, rijp fruit en zachte karamel. Kruidige accenten van kaneel en nootmuskaat komen naar voren, gevolgd door een lichte hint van noten en vanille.
- Afdronk: Lang en zijdezacht, met fruitige en licht kruidige nuances.
