Samenvatting
Waar ligt de grens tussen onuitgesproken liefde en onbemind zijn? Wanneer de 21-jarige William onverwacht naar Seattle vertrekt, reist zijn broer Markus hem achterna. Een paar dagen later wordt het levenloze lichaam van Markus gevonden aan de voet van de Snoqualmie Falls. Voordat William met het lichaam van Markus terugreist naar Vlaardingen krijgt hij bij de receptie van zijn hotel een laatste gift van zijn broer. Het blijkt een notitieboek van opa Lovitz, een Joodse familievriend. Op weg naar het vliegveld begint William te lezen en zo ontdekt hij dat het tragische lot van zijn broer onontkoombaar was.
