Yoghurtstarter wordt gebruikt om zelf yoghurt te maken van melk. Yoghurt is traditioneel gefermenteerde voeding met bacterieculturen. Yoghurt maak je met een yoghurtmaker of een thermosfles voor de fermentatie op een constante temperatuur van 41 graden gedurende 6 tot 8 uur. Maak yoghurt van koemelk, geitenmelk, schapenmelk of van plantaardige melk. Breng 1 liter melk langzaam aan de kook. Koel de melk af tot 41 graden celsius en voeg 1 sachet yoghurtstarter toe. Goed mengen. Fermenteer de melk gedurende 5 tot 8 uur in een thermosfles of yoghurtmaker. Zet in de koelkast en geniet! 1 doosje bevat 3 zakjes a 5 gram.
