Als aanvulling op mijn Champagnes van Godart heb ik de Champagnes van Piot-Sévillano toegevoegd aan mijn collectie. Zij zijn sinds een aantal jaar overgestapt op volledige biologische productie en met name in de duurdere serie zijn hun wijnen zeer onderscheidend. De cuvée Prestige is een Blanc de Noir, dus gemaakt van alleen rode druiven. De Champagne heeft 5 jaar gerijpt en je ruikt meteen de kracht en de rijpheid. Je proeft zowel fruit als specerijen, waarin pruim en kaneel overheerst, en een afdronk die een tijdje bij je blijft. Erg bijzonder!
Deze champagne is gemaakt van de druiven Pinot Meunier (80%) en Pinot Noir (20%).
