Onder de naam Renzo Masi heeft Fattorio di Basciano een zeer gunstig geprijsde serie Chianti´s. Met name van deze Riserva was ik zeer onder de indruk. Hij heeft 30 maanden in de kelders gelegen, waarvan 14 maanden op hout. Een volle ronde goed uitgebalanceerde wijn, smaakt naar zwarte bessen en specerijen. Drink deze wijn bij rood vlees en stevige kazen.
Deze wijn is gemaakt van de Sangiovese druif.
