Dit sfeervolle theelichtje is gemaakt van himalayazout en geeft warm, zacht licht. De theelichtjes hebben ieder een unieke vorm en kleur. Het zout voor de zoutlampen van Esspo komen uit het zoutmijn gebied Saltrange in Pakistan. Al sinds 16 jaar werkt Esspo samen met de leverancier; de werkomstandigheden, een eerlijke prijs voor de producten, veiligheid op de werkplek en een goed loon zijn belangrijke aspecten in de duurzame relatie die in de jaren is opgebouwd. De lampen zelf worden vervaardigd in Lahore, de producten werkt daarbij onder ISO 9001:2008 en HACCP certificering en waardoor strenge controle op werkomstandigheden geborgd is. Door traditionele productie een markt te bieden kunnen tradities, die een samenbindende functie in de lokale gemeenschap hebben, in stand gehouden of hersteld en waar nodig verbeterd worden.
