De druiven van deze Barolo zijn exclusief afkomstig van de beste wijngaarden van Barolo, Monforte, Castiglion Falletto en La Morra. Bewaard in een koele, donkere kelder kan deze wijn wel 25 tot 30 jaar mee! 93 punten beoordeling door Wine Spectator.

Omschrijving en details
Traditionele vinificatie. De druiven zijn handgeplukt en worden snel naar de kelder gebracht om te ontstelen en zachtjes te kneuzen. De druiven ondergaan een fermentatie onder gecontroleerde temperatuur van 28-30 graden in roestvrijstalen tanks. De wijn rijpt gedurende 2 jaar in gedeeltelijk Sloveense en gedeeltelijk Franse eiken vaten. Daarna nog 12 maanden op fles.
Granaatrood van kleur met robijnrode tinten. Intense geuren van kruiden, vanille, geroosterde hazelnoten, drop, cacao en wilde rozen.
Een volle, elegante smaak en een goede body. De tonen van kruiden en hout blenden perfect samen.
Dankzij de prachtige structuur combineert deze wijn perfect met rood vlees, stoofgerechten en wild. Ook bij kazen een ideale begeleider.
