Dit prachtige beeldje van de collectie "Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin» is een waar genot voor het oog. Dit masker komt voor in Kuifje in Afrika. Het Afrikaanse masker-beeldje wordt met een genummerd certificaat van echtheid geleverd.
De collectie "Musée Imaginaire" De personages en objecten van deze serie zijn ontworpen op basis van de poster die Hergé voor de tentoonstelling "Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin" in 1979 heeft gemaakt.
Elk beeldje wordt in een speciale doos met een certificaat van echtheid geleverd. In juni 1979 werd een tentoonstelling van groot formaat, die later in andere locaties zou georganiseerd worden, in Het Paleis voor Schone Kunsten in Brussel ingehuldigd. Hergé was niet op de hoogte van de volledige catalogus maar de organisatoren legden hem uit dat het doel van deze tentoonstelling was om de legendarische voorwerpen die Kuifje tijdens zijn avonturen verzameld had te vergelijken met de echte objecten die Hergé geïnspireerd hadden. Hergé creëerde de affiche van de tentoonstelling en tekende zijn hoofdpersonages in het midden van een denkbeeldig decor waarvan menig fan en verzamelaar van Kuifje alleen maar konden dromen.
