Zijn uw messen niet meer zo scherp?
Hiervoor hebben wij de slijpsteen. De slijpsteen bestaat uit een hoogwaardige combinatie van verschillende slijpkorrelgroottes. De steen heeft twee verschillende kanten, een fijne en een met grove korrels.
De grove kant van de steen wordt gebruikt om oneffenheden af te slijpen, dit wordt ook wel het voorslijpen genoemd. Met de fijne kant kunt u het mes weer scherp slijpen en zo bepaald u ook de scherpte van het mes. Dit wordt ook wel het fijnslijpen genoemd, op deze manier polijst u de snijrand.
