Jasper Wickens was jarenlang de wijnmaker van het beroemde Badenhorst, maar maakt sinds 2012 ook eigen wijn. De witte wijn is gemaakt van 100% semillon. Deze kloon heeft van nature roze/rode druiven, waardoor de kleur van de wijn een licht koperen gloed heeft. In de neus veel rijp fruit, meloen, nectarine en perzik met fijne mineralen en wat honingbloesem. Een spannende wijn, met goede structuur en zelfs een beetje hartige tonen door gedeeltelijke inweking van de schillen en fermentatie van hele trossen. Prachtig!
