Golden yellow unfiltered Furmint natural wine.
Draped in a floral vale of jasmine and chamomile with irresistible freshness of ripe peach and passion fruit in the background.
Discovering how Timea Elles from Szóló plays with the different vessels for fermentation and ageing in her cellar is an ongoing exiting discovery. She works with different sizes of mainly immersed and sometimes toasted oak barrels, with ceramic eggs or terracotta amphoras.
One part of this cuveé is aged in an immersed oak barrel leaving a soft nutty track of almond and caramel. The palate is dry with vibrant tropical fruit acidity, slightly smoothened up with 8 months resting on fine lees.
Overall a remarkable wine in high balance with a lot of hidden facets to entertain curious natural wine lovers and pleasure seekers, but also remarkable medium to natural conversion, thanks to its pure and charming elegance.
