Description
De Merlet Coperies is een Franse Single Malt-whisky die wordt gemaakt in slechts één distilleerderij. De naam komt uit het lokale dialect en betekent ‘’oogsten". Deze Franse Whisky is gecreëerd door de familiedistilleerderij Merlet & Fils, die al gedurende meerdere generaties producten maakt zoals cognac, fruitlikeuren en Pineau de Charentes.
De Merlet Coperies French Single Malt whisky wordt tweemaal gedistilleerd in koperen Charentaisketels, die een ronde en elegante moutdestillaat geven. Daarna wordt de whisky gerijpt op Franse eikenhouten vaten. Dit zijn dezelfde vaten die worden gebruikt voor cognac. Door gebruik te maken van nieuwe en al reeds gebruikte vaten krijgt de whisky subtiele kruidige tonen en zachte tannine. Het resultaat is een bloemige en fruitige whisky van een ongeëvenaarde finesse.
Deze heerlijke Franse whisky is perfect om puur te drinken.
