Description
De druiven worden met de hand geoogst op de 30 jaar oude Viña Lanciano wijngaard. De druiven worden met de hand geselecteerd, zodat alleen de druiven met de beste rijpheid en in de beste staat worden gebruikt. De wijn vergist in kleine RVS tanks waarbij de most elke dag wordt overgepompt om nog betere kleur en smaak extractie te krijgen. De wijn krijgt een houtlagering van 19 maanden in Frans en Russisch eiken en een flesrijping van 18 maanden.
De wijn heeft een helder rode kleur met paarse reflecties. Elegante aroma's van zwart en rood fruit, zoethout, zoete specerijen en gebak gecombineerd met een mineraal karakter. Het bouquet is doorregen met hints van bos struiken, mint en venkel. De wijn begint zijdezacht en elegant met fruit en met zoete goed geïntegreerde tannine. Een prettig lange aanhoudende finish. Dit is een opvallende wijn uit de Rioja die de mogelijkheden in de streek weergeven over het elegante en verfijnde karakter van deze regio.Wijn/Spijs
