Ten oosten van Verona in de provincie Veneto ligt het plaatsje Soave, waar de wijnen worden gemaakt van de Garganega druif. Een druif met een vrij hoge zuurgraad. De San Michelle combineert het zuur met zeer rijp fruit, wat een smaakvolle wijn oplevert die ruikt naar bloemen en proeft naar perzik, meloen en amandelen. De wijn past goed bij schaaldieren en vissoep.
Deze wijn is gemaakt van de Garganega druif.
