De Tequila Fortaleza Blanco is gemaakt van 100% blauwe weber agave en wordt met de hand gebotteld. Denk aan aroma’s van citrus, olijf en peper. Citrusvruchten, vanille en basilicum krijg je terug in het smaakprofiel.
Het merk Tequila Fortaleza is opgericht in 2005, maar de groot-grootvader Don Cenobio richtte in 1873 zijn eerste distilleerderij op – La Perseverancia in Jalisco. Don Cenobio was niet alleen de eerste Mexicaan die “mezcal de tequila” exporteerde naar de Verenigde Staten, maar ook de manier van agaves bereiden. Don Cenobio gebruikte cabines met stoom in plaats van koken in de grond en bedekken met aarde.
