Tequila Ocho Añejo Widow Jane Cask Finish is de nieuwste uitgave in de samenwerking tussen Tequila Ocho en Widow Jane Distillery. Deze limited-edition añejo tequila wordt gemaakt met agave van één enkele estate, Rancho El Nacimiento, eigendom van de familie van Tequila Ocho-medeoprichter Carlos Camarena in Jalisco, Mexico. Gedistilleerd in 2022 en vervolgens 12 maanden gerijpt in vaten die eerder Widow Jane 10-year bourbon bevatten, biedt deze tequila een unieke balans tussen Ocho’s kenmerkende terroir en de rijke invloeden van bourbonvaten.
Aroma & Smaak:
- Neus: Gekookte agave, met hints van ceder, dennen, en stro, aangevuld met subtiele tonen van bakspices en karamel.
- Smaak: Intense agavesmaken met accenten van munt, kaneel, en vanille, harmonieus aangevuld door warme houttonen en een vleugje peper.
- Afdronk: Een zachte, verwarmende finish met een mooie balans tussen zoete karamel en pittige kruiden.
Met een hoger alcoholpercentage van 48% biedt deze tequila een krachtige, gelaagde smaakervaring. Het vatrijpingsproces verzacht de smaak zonder de kenmerkende agave-aroma’s te dempen, en voegt extra diepte toe met hints van kruiden en karamel.
