Description
Tequila Ocho Single Estate Extra Anejo wordt op een artisanale manier gemaakt, waardoor de tequila in balans is en erg makkelijk is om te drinken. Deze Mexicaanse tequila is gemaakt van 100% blauwe weber agave. Hij heeft voor 3 jaar gerijpt in oude Amerikaanse Whiskey vaten vrij. Deze artisanale tequila smaakt naar gedroogd fruit, koffie en cacao en geeft een zachte hint van het Amerikaans eikenhout. Daarnaast vind je tonen terug van gekookte agave, een ronde zoete fruitigheid en vanille.
Bij Tequila Ocho staat het cijfer acht centraal. De Blanco tequila is gemaakt van de achtste sample, door de familie Camarenas voor Tomas Estes. Het duurt ongeveer 8 jaar voordat een agave klaar is voor het produceren van tequila. Bovendien is voor 1 liter Tequila Ocho ongeveer 8 kilo aan agaves nodig en dit is een stuk meer dan wat de gemiddelde tequilaproducent gebruikt.
Net zoals bij goede wijnen maakt Tequila Ocho gebruik van terroirs, of op zijn Mexicaans: "ranchos". Deze ranchos liggen verspreid in de provincie Jalisco, waardoor elke rancho een ander smaakprofiel krijgt.
