De Vacqueyras wordt samen met de Gigondas ook wel het kleine broertje van de Châteauneuf du Pape genoemd, maar heeft toch ook een eigen karakter. Omdat ik altijd een stille voorliefde heb gehad van de Vacqueyras, mag de wijn natuurlijk niet ontbreken in mijn webshop. De wijn heeft lekker veel rood en zwart fruit. De Vacqueyras is net wat minder exclusief dan de Gigondas. Vandaar ook de mooiere en scherpere prijs.
Deze wijn is gemaakt van de druiven Grenache, Syrah en Mourvedre.
