Description
Deze 8 jaar gerijpte rum van Hampden Estate is een perfect voorbeeld van Jamaicaanse pot still rum. De lange fermentatie en tropische rijping zorgen voor een diepe en uitgesproken smaak, zonder toegevoegde suikers of kleurstoffen.
Het aroma opent met rijpe banaan, ananas en gedroogd fruit, aangevuld met tonen van hout en een lichte rokerigheid. In de mond proef je een rijke mix van karamel, kruidnagel en citrus, met een vleugje vanille en een kenmerkende funky toets. De afdronk is lang en complex, met een mooie balans tussen zoet, kruidig en hartig. Een veelzijdige rum die zowel puur als in cocktails uitstekend tot zijn recht komt.
