Description
Santa Teresa Solera 1796 is een unieke rum van exceptionele kwaliteit, mede dankzij het gebruik van de eeuwenoude "Solera"-methode. Deze methode omvat een zorgvuldige selectie en blending van gerijpte rum in rijen vaten met verschillende niveaus van rijpheid, met zelfs een rum van 35 jaar oud op de bovenste rij. De gebottelde rum is exclusief afkomstig uit de onderste rij, die de oudste rum bevat. Na dit proces ondergaat de spirit een "crianza" in grote Franse eiken vaten voordat hij wordt gebotteld.
Santa Teresa Solera 1796 heeft een diepe mahonie kleur en intense aroma's van vanille, honing, kaneel en sherry. Het smakenpalet combineert donker fruit met tonen van sherry, karamel, overrijpe banaan, nootmuskaat, kaneel, chocolade en tabak. De rum eindigt met een lange en zuivere afdronk van eikenhout en geroosterde noten.
